"Thank you, darling." He smiles as Essek nuzzles against him. "I love you, Essek."

His hand lifts to cup Essek's chin, holding him still for a proper kiss. Reluctantly, he lets go of his husband entirely so that he can get the tray and bring it with them to the bed. Percy balances it on one hand and clears one of the nightstands before he sets it down there, keeping it within easy reach.

Then he shrugs out of his robe and tosses it onto the edge of the bed before he eases into it. He takes off his glasses and sets them on the other nightstand so that they're out of the way, because he knows that he'll forget to take them off again if he still has them on when they get started again.
