Essek squeezes his beloved's hand gently as he admits to being tired. He can relate. This evening has been an eventful one, and ordinarily they would likely be getting into bed to rest. Tonight, when they rest is dependent on when they truly exhaust themselves together.

His stark hair stirs across the dark red pillow under him as he shakes his head.
